The zones have been created based on the Urban Lifestyles approach with a focus on designated town centres and key transport hubs. Acceptable development proposal(s) must demonstrate that; a) Buildings and public realm have been provided which have potential to be adaptable over time, to accommodate a range of uses and potential occupiers, being socially inclusive, accessible and tenure blind. This will help applicants understand how the policy requirements fit together and what information is necessary to demonstrate how the policies will be satisfied.
